Program Overview

Home / Program / Program Overview

Our full program is divided into two phases made up of smaller programs. The first phase breaks through the bondage that is keeping the women captive. The second readies them to reestablish themselves in the community.

Phase 1

Life changing Program –  II Thessalonians 5:12-25       Although our program’s purpose is to prepare you for the future, we need to know if you are on parole or probation to bring closure to the past. We are a no-smoking program because we want you to learn to turn to Christ when you are stressed and not to a cigarette. The home allows for very minimal media influence. We will be confronting your issues (fear, rebellion, pride, submission, etc.) while preparing you to confront those issues and people that have kept you in bondage. In these six months we will offer you the tools you need to transform your life, but you have to put them in practice.

Disciplined Program – All activities are mandatory. This program is about instilling obedience, order, and boundaries, as well as submitting to authority. This is based on Ephesians 4:29-31. No one has an excuse to argue, speak their minds, or be disrespectful to anyone in the home. Self-control is not only encouraged but required.

Deliverance Program – We believe God can deliver anyone from tobacco, sex, co-dependent relationships, alcohol, marijuana, crack, cocaine, meth, amphetamines, barbiturates, prescription meds, etc. The Bible says we can renew our minds and do not have to live in this bondage.

Discipleship Program – The Bible says to be doers of the Word and not just hearers. During your six months, we hope to walk with you step-by-step to help you understand that God is faithful and able to bring you through every situation. Although this program is geared toward your recovery, servanthood is promoted and expected – I Peter 4:9-10

Phase 2

Building Independence – Upon graduating SPA’s six month program and finding employment, we offer transitional living. The home is named Destiny’s Door. This is an open door to your destiny. The home gives you the opportunity to learn to budget your money and be responsible for your own bills. You are assigned a case manager/mentor to help you through the tough times and to hold you accountable.

Reuniting Mothers with Children– During the months at SPA, weekly visitation with your children is encouraged. Once you are settled into a routine at Destiny’s Door, you may have your children live with you. This gives you the chance to build a strong relationship with your children and begin a healthy lifestyle with them.

Balanced Lifestyle– Learning to balance everyday living such as working, parenting, budgeting, housekeeping, and scheduling is one of the hardest times in a young mother’s life. Our goal is to see you succeed. We want you to reach your goals and discover your destiny. With God, all things are possible.
